Prerequisites: hdc

Starting Chain Multiple: Even Number

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  hdc across

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 2:

·  hdc in the first stitch

·  chain 1

·  skip 1

·  repeat [hdc, ch 1, sk 1] across the row

·  hdc in the final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 3:

·  hdc in the first stitch

·  chain 1

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into chain space below

·  pull up a loop (you now have 3 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into hdc below chain 1 space

·  pull up a loop (you now have 5 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into next chain 1 space

·  pull up a loop (you now have 7 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  pull through all 7 loops on hook

·  chain 1 to close

Feather Stitch made

·  repeat [hdc, feather] across the row

·  hdc in final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 4:

·  hdc in the first stitch

·  chain 1

·  feather stitch

·  repeat [hdc, feather] across the row

·  hdc in final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Repeat row 4 until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
