Prerequisites: sc, hdc, fpsc

Starting Chain Multiple: Even

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

· sc across

· chain 1

· turn

Row 2:

· sc in first stitch

· chain 1

· skip 1 stitch

· hdc in stitch from the row below

· chain 1

· skip 1 stitch

· repeat [hdc, ch 1, sk 1] across the row

· sc in the final stitch

· chain 1

· turn

Row 3:

· sc in first stitch

· sc in chain 1 space below

· front post single crochet (fpsc) around the front two strands of the hdc in the row below

· sc in the next ch 1 space

· repeat [fpsc, sc] across the row

· sc in the final stitch

· chain 1

· turn

Row 4:

· sc in first stitch

· hdc in the chain 1 space below

· chain 1

· skip 1 stitch

· hdc in the chain 1 space below

· repeat [ch 1, sk 1, hdc] across the row

· sc in the final stitch

· chain 1

· turn

Row 5:

· sc in the first stitch

· fpsc around the front two strands of the hdc in the row below

· sc in the chain 1 space

· fpsc around the front two strands of the hdc in the row below

· repeat [sc, fpsc] across the row

· sc in the final stitch

· chain 1

· turn

Row 6:

· sc in the first stitch

· chain 1

· skip 1

· hdc in the chain 1 space below

Repeat rows 3-6 until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
