Prerequisites: sc, dc

Starting Chain Multiple: 3+2

 

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  sc across

·  chain 2

·  turn


Row 2:

·  dc in the first stitch

·  skip 2 stitches

·  3 dc in the next stitch (dc cluster made)

·  repeat [sk 2, dc cluster] until 3 stitches remaining

·  skip 2 stitches

·  2 dc in the final stitch

·  chain 2

·  turn


Row 3:

·  3 dc cluster in space between clusters


Arrows identifying the spaces between the three double crochet groups where the next row of Granny Stripe groups is worked.

·  repeat across the row until last space

·  3 dc in final space

·  chain 2

·  turn


Row 4:

·  dc in first space

·  3 dc cluster in each space between clusters across

·  repeat across the row until 4 stitches remaining

·  dc in space between last 2 stitches

·  dc in top of chain

·  chain 2

·  turn


Repeat rows 3-4 until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
