Half Double Crochet - Back Loop

Abbreviation: BLO hdc

Prerequisites: hdc

Starting Chain Multiple: Any

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  hdc across

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 2:

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into back loop of stitch

·  pull up a loop

·  yarn over

·  pull through all 3 loops on hook

BLO hdc stitch made

·  repeat across the row

·  chain 1

·  turn

Repeat row 2 until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.

Note: For cleaner edges, work the first and last stitch through both loops.
