Alternate Names: Griddle Stitch, Up and Down Stitch, Houndstooth when worked in two colors

Prerequisites: sc, dc

Starting Chain Multiple: Odd Number

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  sc in first stitch

·  dc in the next stitch

·  repeat [sc, dc] across the row

·  chain 1

·  turn

Repeat until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
