Puff Stitch

Prerequisites: sc

Starting Chain Multiple: Even Number

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  sc across

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 2:

·  sc in the first stitch

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into next stitch

·  pull up a loop (you now have 3 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into same stitch

·  pull up a loop (you now have 5 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  insert hook into same stitch

·  pull up a loop (you now have 7 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  pull through all 7 loops

·  chain 1 to close

Puff Stitch made

·  repeat [sc, puff] across the row

·  no need to chain 1 to turn, the chain from the puff stitch counts as the turning chain

Repeat rows 1-2 until desired height. End with row 1. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.

Note: Some patterns do not end with a closing chain. Always follow the instructions for the individual pattern.
