Rug Stitch

Prerequisites: none

Starting Chain Multiple: Any

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  insert hook into stitch

·  pull up a loop (you now have 2 loops on your hook)

·  yarn over

·  pull through first loop on hook (you still have 2 loops on your hook)

·  insert hook in same stitch

·  pull up a loop

·  pull directly through 2 loops on hook

Rug Stitch made

·  repeat rug stitch across the row

·  chain 1

·  turn

Repeat until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
