Prerequisites: sc, spike sc

Starting Chain Multiple: Even Number

Begin in second chain from hook

Row 1:

·  sc across

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 2:

·  sc in the first stitch

·  chain 1

·  skip the next stitch

·  sc in the next stitch

·  repeat from [ch 1, sk 1, sc] until 2 stitches remaining

·  chain 1

·  skip the next stitch

·  sc in the final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 3:

·  repeat row 2

Row 4:

·  sc in the first stitch

·  spike sc 2 rows below

·  chain 1

· skip the next stitch

·  spike sc

·  repeat [ch 1, sk 1, spike] until 1 stitch left

·  sc in final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 5:

·  sc in the first 2 stitches

·  chain 1

·  skip the next stitch

·  sc in the next stitch

·  repeat [ch 1, sk 1, sc] until 1 stitch left

·  sc in final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 6:

·  sc in the first stitch

·  chain 1

·  skip next stitch

·  spike sc 2 rows below

·  repeat [ch 1, sk 1, spike] across the row until there are 2 stitches left

·  chain 1

·  sc in the final stitch

·  chain 1

·  turn

Repeat rows 3-6 until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
