Sable Stitch

Prerequisites: slst, herringbone hdc, BLO hdc

Starting Chain Multiple: Any

Begin in third chain from hook

Row 1:

·  herringbone half double crochet across

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 2:

·  slst in the first stitch

·  ch 1

·  slst in the second stitch

·  repeat [ch 1, slst] across (you are not skipping any stitches)

·  chain 1

·  turn

Row 3:

·  BLO herringbone half double crochet in each slst across (skip each ch 1 space)

·  chain 1

·  turn

Repeat rows 2-3 until desired height. Do not chain or turn at the end of the pattern.
